This book is a collection of traditional folksongs, Irish and American fiddle tunes, adaptations of classical pieces, and original songs in contemporary stylings. Melody lines are in standard notation and tab with suggested chords for accompaniment. There is a section for players who want to learn how to add chords to a melody line, finding and choosing their own chords, and adding rhythm changes to create their own arrangements. This book is best suited for players beyond absolute beginner level(novices) to intermediate players. All but three songs are on the CD. Several different tunings.
